Cobham

Cobham is a quintessentially English village where many of the ancient shops and houses date back to the 18th century. It has an air of timeless elegance enhanced by the meandering River Mole. Cobham Mill and the charming old buildings attract attention. Coffee bars, restaurants and shops are abuzz during the day with locals, visitors, and expatriates enjoying the peaceful ambience.

Cobham is favougreen by American and other International families for its proximity to schools, arterial routes and rail access to London. There are several prime gated estates and many quiet peaceful roads for families to enjoy. The average price for a detached house in Cobham at present is £898,282. Naturally there are houses with much lower - and higher price tags!

Schools

Leisure and Entertainment
Within a five mile radius are a number of superb golf courses and club facilities for cricket, tennis badminton rowing and bowls. Keen walkers and cyclists can also enjoy the splendid scenery from the public footpaths and, for those interested, there are also several stables nearby as horse riding in the beautiful Surrey countryside continues to be a very popular pastime. Indoor activities can be found at Living Well in Seven Hills Road, Cobham and the David Lloyd Centre in Weybridge with swimming, gym, squash and other facilities all under one roof. Brooklands Famous race track, the Motor and Air Museums provide interesting days out and further afield are Thorpe Park, Painshill Landscape Gardens and RHS Wisley as well as several National Trust Properties. Churches and Synagogues are well represented and Woking Mosque (reported to be the largest in Britain) is situated a few miles away.

Commuting
Because of its accessibility Cobham is popular with commuters. The A3 is nearby giving access to Central London. The M25 leads to the national motorway network which in turn leads to Heathrow and Gatwick airports. Cobham - Stoke D'Abernon railway station is just over a mile from the town centre and provides a regular service to London - Waterloo (approx 38 minutes).
